The 9th of August is Women's Day in South Africa as it celebrates a serious case of Girl Power! 20 000 women marched on the Union Buildings in 1956 to protest the extention of Pass Laws to the female population: definitely something to be proud of! This day, and a whole lot more reasons, make me proud to be a woman!
Here are my top 5 reasons I'm proud to be a woman:
1.SOME of us can walk in beauties like this:
Glitter Louboutins: Love!
For the adventurous, there is this nude spike slingback! Looks dangerous in more ways than one...I wonder if I'd wear it? Would you?
The design on the heels looks fun!
I love the drama!
My favourite! J'adore! And I'd wear it everywhere, everyday if it wasn't logistically impossible!
2. ALL of us can take charge and show the world who's boss!
Blair Waldorf: taking over the world one crafty scheme and flawless outfit at a time!
Because behind every successful man there is a brilliant woman!
3. NONE of us can resist the thought of happily ever after!
The Duchess and her Duke, I find the thought of them together absolutely adorable! Happily ever after indeed!
That dress is stunning, makes me wish we all had an excuse to wear evening gowns out at night!
4. We ALL have a lot of love to give, to friends, family and the world at large!
Blair and Serena who, despite all the fights, love each other!
Friends stick by friends and cheer each other on!
5. We're girls, we just wanna have fun! All the time, EVERYDAY!
Happy Women's Day everyone!
