BLOG THREE
THIS MONTH: TAMARA
BLOG: GLAM AND GLITTER 4EVER
I have to say that this blog is one of my favourites because the author's style is preppy, colourful and tons of fun! She keeps her palettes clean and the lines neat making her outfits appear elegant and sophisticated beyond belief. I enjoy reading Tamara's blog because of the anecdotes she shares about her life as a student and well as the snippets her readers get to see of the trips she takes. The thing I enjoy most about the blog is that despite the fact that her clothes are gorgeous designer items, her style feels young and accessible. Take a look below to see what I mean:
This picture was taken while Tamara was on holiday and I enjoy the simplicity of the cut of the garment and the fact that the colour completely offsets that. The colour of the belt helps ground the look.
The shoes in this picture catch the eye and I love the way the butter yellow blazer and pink clutch add even more colour to an outfit that could've ended up so basic with the black.
This is also another holiday snap of Tamara's and I have to say that this outfit is a stunner! I'm into peach at the moment what with the pastal craze and the sequin skirt is such a statement piece!
This outfit is a prime example of how easy and effortless Tamara's style is. I love the fun rubber bag she finishes the look off with!
This outfit is my favourite as it's so simple conceptually but the use of colour makes it fabulous. I love the colour-blocked Chanel pumps and the deep colour of that bag is to die for! I recently spied a similar version of it and I can't wait to buy it for myself!

POP AKA Pink Organisational Power
I've been going on and on about the lack of pink in my life recently and so, a couple of weekends ago I decided to go out and do something about it! I love organising and putting into place systems and plans to be more organised (being a little OCD at times) so when I walked into Sass Diva and saw their jewellery organiser I immediately snapped it up because I couldn't wait to put it to work!
The one I chose is pink, covered in hearts and about the girliest organisation tool I've seen out there in a while. The great thing about it is how it instantly helps sort out your jewellery because of the individualised pockets for popping earings, watches and necklaces into! It has clear sleeves so you can see everything and there's no need to spend time trying to find your favourites because they're all right there in clear view! The great thing about the organiser is that it doubles as a makeup bag with a detachable toiletry bag and it can be folded up, tied in a neat little bow and packed right along with all your stuff when you travel! It conveniently comes with a hanger and hooks to hang any items should you need to! I am love with this new find of mine and recommend it to all jewellery obsessed girls like me because it can definitely make your life easier!
To go along with my organiser, while at Sass Diva I picked up the most amazing neon pink necklace which reminds me of armour! I can't wait to wear it under a shirt collar or with something dark so it pops!
Here are some pics of my two new finds:
The organiser all wrapped up in a bow
The individual pockets
The oh-so-convenient coat hanger hook
The hooks
The detachable toiletry bag
And my last find of the day: my beautiful neon pink armour-like necklace

Bloglovin'
As promised in the month of July here comes yet another fantastic blog, this time all the way from the USA!
BLOG TWO
THIS MONTH: WENDY NGUYEN
BLOG: WENDY'S LOOKBOOK
I always have to keep myself from gushing when I share these new blogs that I come across but I pretty much can't help it! I feel like I learn a lot more from the style blogs I come across than how to dress well. I love learning more about the people behind the blog as time goes on and one such blog I've enjoyed doing that with is Wendy's Lookbook . She's a Psychology graduate from Berkeley who's doing volunteer work with InsideOutWriters, a non-profit organization which assists previously incarcerated youths. Her style could be called "colourfully chic simplicity" and she brings it to her readers humorously as she details her daily doings and adventures with her boyfriend "MM" (Mystery Man), brother and friends. There's a great balance of pics and writing and I have to say this blog is fast becoming one of the most inspirational blogs I've come across!
See for yourself:
I'm usually a sceptic when it comes to the red and green colour combo and in fact it always makes me think of Christmas which is not always an appropriate look year round...at least that's what I thought until I saw Wendy rocking this look! It's enough to make any sceptic a believer! I love this look!
I am a fan of stripes and colour so the two together make me doubly happy! The handbag is a beautiful addition to the relaxed, casual look too.
The flare skirt is such a striking yet simple clothing item and I like the fact that with subtle top and sequined clutch the focus remains on it.
More pink! As I mentioned before I haven't worn much of it recently but I more than approve of the way it looks on Wendy in this pic!
This is from Wendy's trip to Italy. She said she was inspired by the simple looks of the Italian men and the way they dressed for the Italian heat. I think she's interpreted their looks wonderfully!

Birthday Wishlist
As I've mentioned, July is my birthday month and in the spirit of the festivities these are some of the things that I've been lusting after and would enjoy thoroughly if I were to receive them! Here are some of the things that would make my 20th birthday a special day indeed!
#1
This Sass Diva pearl detachable collar is a must have and yes, it's at the top of my list! I love the way it looks and can see it fitting right into my wardrobe! I love the simplicity of it and the fact that it's made of pearls means it can instantly class up any outfit! A must have!
#2
I did a post about turbans on this blog and my love for them hasn't faded at all! I'm still in love with the drama they add to an outfit and I can't wait to build up a colourful collection. They're my number two pick and would make a glorious birthday gift-hint, hint, nudge, nudge amigas!
On a sidenote I really appreciate Paula's(the girl in the pictures') blog and her inspiring turban looks!
#3
I can't get enough of jewelled clutches! Although they can be quite impractical what with the fact that you can barely fit anything into them with their notorious lack of space I think their glam factor more than makes up for it!
#4
A lace wig from PhopsBeauty, a hair and make up company based in Durban. This is a pic of a Peruvian Brazillian mix. These are a (black) girl's dream come true becuase they enable us to experiment with long hair in a way that isn't naturally possible (because it can never grow to that length). They are however rather expensive and are a definite splurge!
#5
No, the last thing I'm after is not a Bentley-although I wouldn't refuse if anyone sought to give me one-but it's actually a driver's license! I could seriously use one so that I could then progress to lusting after Bentleys with the knowledge I could actually drive one around town legally! Fingers crossed that when I go for my test I ace it!
Friends! I hope you took notes:)

Since JULY is my birthday month I'm gonna be sharing more than just one of my favourite bloggers! This month I'll be sharing 3 of my favourite bloggers and here's the first one all the way from SPAIN!
BLOG ONE
THIS MONTH: SARA
BLOG: COLLAGE VINTAGE
Most of the blog may be in Spanish but it doesn't take a Masters in the language to understand that this girl's got style! I love visiting this blog pretty much daily to have a look at Sara's looks. She has a way of making even the simplest clothing item like a flannel shirt look chic. Her overall style seems quite effortless and I definitely think that I could learn a thing or two from Sara's Collage Village style! Her blog has plenty of features such as a page where you can view her outfits, another with some DIY and yet another with fashion inspirations. The blog is fun to read with plenty of pictures to keep you entertained!
Have a look:
Pastels are something I adore and the colours work well with the oversized jacket! A plus Sara!
Pink is an adorable colour and unfortunately I don't wear a lot of it. This look definitely inspires me to change that!
This Zara crown is so whimsical and fun. I think I'd pretty much wear it all the time! She pairs it with a nude top which is so fun cause it tones down the drama of strutting around in a crown all day...
This is a look I can't wait to immitate! It's so flowy and makes me think of a flower girl all grown up!
My favourite look of all of Sara's! It epitomises her style because it's something casual thrown in with something chic like a crochet dress! Gorg!
